Planning a Trip in San Cristobal de las Casas
We'll be in Galapagos for 8 days, and had been planning to do all three islands, but having read posts on here by Snaek and others, there is just so much to see and do on all the islands, I don't want to be travelling too much. We're planning two nights in Puerto Ayora , so we can get to know when the trips run and get booked on the ones we want, followed by three nights at either San Cristobal or Isabela , and then back to Puerto Ayora for the last few days, when we hope to do day trips to the smaller islands. We don't have a particular list of things we want to see, but we'd definitely like to hire kayaks for the day at some point. Also we'd like to see the giant tortoises living in the wild if at all possible. Both have great day trips and lots of wildlife close at hand.
Is visiting the Galapagos on your bucket list? Are you putting off visiting the land that gave birth to the theory of evolution because you think it is too expensive? Well think again!
